About Us

Tichenor Clinic for Children is a 501 (c)3 organization. At Tichenor Clinic for Children, we provide free pediatric therapy for kids with orthopedic, developmental, and neurodevelopmental disabilities, focusing on uninsured families. Tichenor’s mission is to maximize children’s abilities by providing therapy and family support services to those with limited access. We help children with orthopedic, developmental, and neurodevelopmental disabilities, focusing our resources on families who are uninsured, under-insured, or cannot find affordable or specialized pediatric therapy services.

Tichenor’s current programs include specialized pediatric therapy (physical, occupational, speech-language, and aquatic) for children with disabilities, aged birth to 18. Our parent/caregiver empowerment services (including educational support groups, assistance in understanding and navigating the legal and public education systems, and self-advocacy training) support the well-being of the whole family.


We partner with other community-based agencies that serve families who are low-income and who have children with disabilities, co-locating services at our clinic whenever possible.
