Jim Stephens, after nearly 40 years in the Engineering and Commercial Fleet Maintenance industry, co-founded Hackney Stephens Associate Inc. (Dba Vehifleet). His career included work for Governments, Cities, and companies in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caribbean. He has a reputation for judicious use of resources and resulting cost containment. Mr. Stephens’ work has been instrumental in providing an inspection regimen for Honda (USA) and Volvo/White Trucks (USA). Mr. Stephens has participated in panels and study groups focused on alternative fuels. Mr. Stephens has an MSc., in Mechanical Engineering, and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Outside of professional interest, Mr. Stephens is a Rotarian, travels extensively, and is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations
