The New Chapter: Awareness. Community. Healing

In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), WomenShelter is collaborating with the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library to host a special awareness event, The Next Chapter: Awareness. Community. Healing. The Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library is a monumental resource for the community of North Long Beach. Together, we aim to create a free, fun, and informative community event to increase domestic violence awareness and honor victims and survivors. Let’s work together to lead with love today, and every day. This family friendly event is open to the public and free! We invite you to join us for an afternoon of education, awareness, arts and crafts, special presentations by community leaders, great giveaways, and a special DVAM book display by the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library.
