Please join us as Duane L. Kenagy, Interim Deputy Executive Director, Port of Long Beach, updates us on the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project. As we all know, the bridge is a major commuter corridor, but built in the 1960's, was not designed to handle today's traffic volumes. This replacement project will not only ensure the safety of commuters and truck drivers but will also support about 3,000 jobs.
