Contracts 101: Draft Your First Contract

Contracts are necessary to protect and grow any business. But contracts are not easy to draft and hiring a lawyer can be expensive. Gina Pak is a LA SBDC advisor who is an entrepreneur and lawyer. She provides SBDC clients with legal information to help their businesses.

During this workshop, we will:

Cover the basics about contracts;
Draft a contract together, specifically an independent contractor agreement (which you can use both when you hire and when you get hired); and
Go over best practices when it comes to contracts for your business.
You will walk away from this workshop not only feeling more confident about contracts, but also with a contract you can use right away!
