Join us on Saturday, October 29, 2022 for HSLB's 26th Annual Cemetery Tour, in Long Beach's oldest cemeteries, Municipal and Sunnyside (1095 & 1151 E. Willow Street, Long Beach). The tour is fun for families and history lovers of all ages. Pre-sale tickets are available at a discount online. Our event features graveside presentations by actors portraying the life of the person lying at rest. Period-appropriate costuming is provided by the Long Beach Playhouse. Each year, the program features new stories of people who shaped the city, because everyone has a story worth telling. Other attractions include a Dia de los Muertos ofrenda, Meet the Authors, the Black Student Union Elders Association, historical displays explaining cemetery iconography and other mysteries, and more.
